Reportedly the best pot of tea in the world! Brown Betty teapots are handmade in the Old Caledonia Mills in Stoke-on-Trent and are imported from England. They are available in different colors and sizes: 2 cup, 4 cup, 6 cup, and 8 cup. The glazed, redware English Betty teapot is a traditional Victorian design dating from the end of the 17th century. It depicts the original ceramic, unglazed teapot created from the red terracotta clay of Bradell Woods, an area in Stoke-on-Trent. Centuries later, the Brown Betty is still made with the same clay from its original region. Its chubby shape causes the tea to be gently swirled around as the boiling water is being added, producing an exquisite infusion. Please note - because these teapots are handmade, there may be some slight imperfections. |
